We're Kristina and Robyn! We met years ago at a female only boxing class where we both fell in love with boxing and became best friends in the process.
We followed each other to a different gym and found the most amazingly supportive gym community. We eventually both became coaches. When that gym closed, we decided we weren't ready to be done so we decided to open SPRAWL BOXING INC.

I fell in love with boxing about 10 years ago. It was the funnest yet most exhausting workout I’d ever done! I started coaching about 5 years later and absolutely loved that too! I really enjoy helping people achieve their goals – especially when they don’t think they can.
I’ve struggled with my own weight and exercising for many, many years. I spent decades trying to “workout a bad diet” only to realize that you can’t! I am constantly learning and growing when it comes to fitness and diet. I love helping people find plans that work for them and their lifestyles!
My favorite exercises are deadbugs, SPRAWLS or anything on the cable/smith machine.
My favorite workout song is Kickstart my Heart (of course!) and my favorite thing to coach is BOXING. My favorite workout quote is “But did you die?”
My passion is to create a non-judgemental community where people of any shape, size & ability can come get their workout on, get some stress out on the bags and have some fun!
I started boxing about 8 years ago at a mobile kickboxing class, where I met my best friend and now business partner, Kristina. At the time, I wasn’t in the best shape, and I remember it being the most challenging yet satisfying workout I had ever experienced.
After having two kids, I had tried just about every fitness option available, searching for something that would help me get fit and that I could stick with consistently. When I found boxing, I knew I’d discovered not just a sport, but a community.
I have been active my whole life, but when I stopped playing team sports, I kept chasing that feeling with group fitness. It’s a great way to connect with people, work out stress, and strengthen yourself physically and mentally.
I’ve been coaching boxing for seven years and I love that there are constant progressions everyone can make to get stronger and hit harder.
I coach because I love pushing people to give more. I fuel my classes with 90s hip hop, I love calling sprawls and yelling encouragement, and if you notice I’m smiling a lot in class, it’s because seeing you all push your hardest and reach new goals genuinely makes my day.
I tried boxing for the first time 6 years ago and haven’t looked back since! I still remember the first time I hit the pads and feeling exhausted but energized at the same time after my first class.
I started coaching 4 years ago and have loved finding ways to make the workouts challenging and fun all at the same time! My favourite exercise would be those boxing yoga poses and holds! Definitely a class I love going to and seeing my own personal progress along the way!
My favourite thing to coach is definitely boxing. I love holding pads for some complicated combos to slow it down and work on technique, and changing it up with some faster jabs. As someone who coaches and works out in the morning - I always find that I end up leaving the gym with more energy to start off my day!
My favourite workout songs would be any of the Big Bootie mixes! and my gym motivational quote is “the only bad workout is the one that didn’t happen”
I have been involved in some sort of fitness for more than 10 years. I’ve tried it all. The one that kept me coming back was boxing, kickboxing and weight training. I joined a kickboxing gym and couldn’t believe how much I loved going and looked forward to it. It wasn’t a chore anymore it was one of the best parts of my day. Not only did it help me physically it sure was a great mood booster.
I worked with some great trainers and decided I wanted to do what they did. I wanted to help others on their fitness journeys in whatever positive way I could. I became a trainer over 8 years ago and I still love it today as much as I did when I first started. Everyday is different, every person you connect with is different. Always different starting points, goals and milestones.
I love everything about coaching; planning classes, holding pads, pushing limits, seeing and being there for everyone who walks in the door and getting to workout with others and leaving a sweaty mess on the gym floor.
My favorite gym quote is “If it doesn’t challenge you, it doesn’t change you.” My favorite song to box/kickbox to is Immortal by DVBBS, and to weight lift to is anything by Eminem or hard rock / metal.
I’m so happy and grateful to be a part of the Sprawl Team. Amazing coaches, amazing members and amazing community.
